Vincent Kompany Bayern Munich manager was happy with the overall performance and the scoreline of his team in their last match.

Bayern Munich thrashed Stuttgart 4-0 at home in the Bundesliga on Saturday night. Bayern currently has 17 points from 7 matches and remains joint top of the table.

“We had to be patient and not give them (Stuttgart) a chance to counter-attack. I felt we could have taken our chances better,” the Belgian said.

“Stuttgart are a great team and it was a very good performance. After the first half, it was about staying calm. I am happy with the result.

“We won and had a little celebration before going to Barcelona. We are always working on the details so that we can improve ourselves even more.”
