Hansi Flick insists Inigo Martinez deserves to be in Spain’s latest squad after the 33-year-old defender’s impressive displays.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has revealed that defender Inigo Martinez, 33, is playing brilliantly and deserves to be recalled to the Spain national team, while also confirming that Pablo Paez Gavira Gavi will be a key player for the Blaugrana for years to come.

‘It’s always difficult for the team, but the national team เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง is important, it is what it is, and we will have time for the other players to rest and recover the energy that they have lost. Spain have two important games and we have a week for the next one,’ Flick said.

The Azulgrana coach also spoke about the re-call of 33-year-old defender Inigo Martinez, saying: ‘In my opinion, he is playing very well, but it is not my decision whether he will stay with the national team or not.’

‘The coach made the decision and he did a great job. He also saw what Inigo was doing, with his attitude and his thinking.’

Flick also explained the situation of Gavi who has not played regularly, saying: ‘Of course I speak with him, with everyone. What can I tell you about Gavi? He just had a major injury. Now he is not the first one to get injured. The second difficult situation is to come back, but he is one of our best players. ‘

‘Our midfielder is very good. He will play for this great club for many years and he will be one of the stars. He will improve a lot, I believe. He’s very focused and happy to be here. He hopes to play in the World Cup and I believe he will do it.’

The German coach also spoke about extending Frenkie de Jong’s contract, saying: ‘It depends on the club and of course the player. He has improved a lot after a big injury. He had to rest for a long time.’

‘He’s playing very well, he gives us a lot of options in possession, his possession is getting better, I’m happy.’

He continued on Lamine Yamal: ‘I think he’s always the same. He’s always confident in possession. Scoring helps a lot, of course. He also provided the first goal for his teammate. He’s playing very well, his form is very good. I don’t think this goal will change anything.’
